Results That Need a Look
A normal X-ray and a critical lab value used to look identical on a patient card — nothing. Now a flag appears the moment a result is worth interrupting for, and clears the moment you've seen it.
Results finish quietly. In a scenario with a dozen patients running labs and imaging in parallel, a completed test doesn’t announce itself — you’d have to open a patient’s record and scroll their history to notice a fracture came back, or that a hemoglobin dropped into dangerous territory. Easy to miss when three other things are already competing for your attention.
A flag now appears on the patient card the moment a result is worth interrupting for. Imaging always flags — a normal X-ray still changes what happens next, so completion itself is the signal. A lab only flags when a value crosses into scenario-authored critical territory: a hemoglobin of 60 flags, a routine metabolic panel doesn’t. Hover the flag to see what came back, and mark it read once you have — it clears the moment you do.
When more than one result is waiting, the flag carries a count, so you know how many you haven’t looked at yet without opening every patient to check. Mark them off one at a time, or all at once.
Every flag you clear is part of the same record as everything else in the session — visible later in session replay exactly as it appeared in the moment.
