About Youfers

The team behind the simulation.

Configurable operational-readiness simulation for emergency departments.

Why we built Youfers

During a mass casualty event, an emergency department runs as a system under extreme pressure. Outcomes turn not just on clinical skill but on operational calls — what's prioritised, how scarce resources are allocated, where bottlenecks form when intake doubles.

Most training rehearses the clinical protocols. Very little lets a department rehearse those system-level decisions under its own real constraints — who goes first when CT is saturated, what breaks when patient intake doubles. That's the gap Youfers was built to close.

Who's behind Youfers

Sergey Sadov

Sergey Sadov

Co-founder · Medical lead · MD, PhD

Sergey is an MD, PhD with years of clinical and leadership experience in Finnish public healthcare, including hands-on work in emergency medicine. He has run real surge first-hand, when scanners, beds, and staff all become the bottleneck at once. That reality shapes the clinical logic behind Youfers: how triage, sequencing, and capacity behave when casualties outpace a department.

Dima Egorov

Co-founder · Product & Growth

Dima runs all of Youfers: the product, the engineering, and getting it in front of the people who need it. The engine shows what he cares about: it records every decision and state transition, so a drill can be replayed and reviewed exactly as it happened. That instinct comes from building healthcare software where auditability wasn't optional, down to a SMART on FHIR certification, audit logging, and access control.

A department head who has run the real thing, and an engineer who can model it faithfully — that's why the simulation reflects how emergency care actually breaks and holds under surge.
