The Rescue Takes a Team

Low blood pressure with bleeding doesn't resolve with one fix. It takes a second IV line, fluids, and a transfusion together. A deterioration's rescue can now require a full set of interventions instead of just one.

A deterioration checkpoint used to gate its rescue on a single corrective intervention. That fit simple cases, but a real crash rarely resolves with one action — a scenario author had to either flatten the clinical picture or skip patients like this altogether.

A deterioration’s rescue can now require several interventions at once. Author any combination — second IV line, fluids, blood transfusion — and the patient stabilizes once every one of them has run, in whatever order your team gets to them. Miss the window and the deterioration still times out the same way it always has.

The editor’s intervention list works the way you already know it from pre-arrival interventions: add, remove, reorder. The one difference — a rescue always needs at least one intervention, so the list won’t let you empty it out from under yourself.
